Happiness:
From the start of day 2, there's a happiness meter in the top right corner of the game.
High Happiness - Miners work faster and don't steal.
Low Happiness - Miners work slower and have a chance to steal some of your precious gold.
Also, the more unhappy the get, the chance of them striking becomes larger, so be careful!
Shop
At the end of each day, you can visit the shop and buy upgrades that help you manage your mining team more efficiently, with less micro-managing.
Some upgrades increase the happiness of your employees.
Additionally, you can raise your employees' salaries and make the happier using the slider on top.
Events
Every couple of days, a special event might occur.
Good events can make your employees happier and earn you some gold, bad events will lose you gold.
Settings
You can modify the volume of music and SFX, and restart your run.

silly lil guy
I feel the salary of 140 is too high and consequently the feeling of progress is too slow (i.e some days without any upgrade with 6 workers did feel bad). Would suggest decrease it to 120 for example
Thank you so much for your feedback, we really appreciate it. We were aiming for a learning process meaning you play the game many times and each time you learn something new and improve. I feel that reducing the salary might be really good for first play throughs but after a few play throughs it becomes too easy. From an experience like yours a player can learn to focus more on upgrades and wait with hiring more miners. Anyways, thank you so much for the comment.
